Impressions de voyage de quelques participants (citations non corrigées):
I had a lovely time in Worthing. The weather was great and the people were sweet and kind. (Victoria)
The English food was different from ours but it wasn't that bad. (Victoria)
Susan didn't cook very special food. We told her that we like pasta, pizza and chips. So that's what she gave to us. And we bought something from Burger King or KFC. (Charlotte)
The food was not as horrible as my parents told me. It was pretty good! (Olivier)
We took the Eurostar in Brussels and we arrived in London at half past twelve.. Then the bus was waiting for us to drive us to our host families in Worthing. (Sophie)
Every morning, we had school lessons. The international school was OK. The morning teacher was really nice and fun. The afternoon teacher was nice but weird. Some of the school hours were a bit long... (Victoria)
The best thing was the host family. We had to speak English all the time, we listened to English radio, etc. (Olivier)
At last I met my ‘new' family: the father was a bus driver, the mother was a housewife, there were two boys, one of fifteen the other five, and tney were welcoming and friendly. (Laurent)
The best activity was Portsmouth. We visited a pavilion for dwarfs and in the afternoon we had four hours of free time. That's why I came back without any money! (Sarah)
I loved Worthing. It is a small and pretty town at the seaside. It had everything: shops, beaches, restaurants... (Victoria)
On Friday we went to Portsmouth and we visited Admiral Nelson's ship, «HMS Victory». (Pauline)
The city of Brighton was very beautiful, very big and very free-spirited. It was my favourite thing on this trip but the visit was too short. (Clara)
The place which was the most beautiful was the Grand Pavilion in Brighton but I also liked the castle in Arundel! (Olivier)
The Thursday in Brighton was funny! But the Friday was even better: it was the day of the wedding that everybody wanted to see, the wedding of Kate and William. We couldn't go to London because there were so many people there.
I think the stay was too short and I hope I can go again next year. Two weeks is a minimum to improve my English, to visit the place and to do some shopping. (Alper)
En conclusion, on peut dire que ce fut une expérience enrichissante pour tous, la plupart des participants ont émis le souhait d'y retourner. Et pourquoi pas?
