A childhood memory.
I remember when I was younger, about ten years old. The best moments of my short life. I know, I'm probably idealizing my memories, but when I remember that it makes me feel as if I was watching a postcard of a very far mountain.
These days when, together with my family, we went for a walk in the Ourika mountains. This feeling of being alone.
I was a giant for the loose stones I was walking on and a beaver for the rocks around me.
These best memories are a few drops in a lake and suddenly I feel there is no end to this happiness.

I was about six years old and I still had all my milk teeth, but one of them was swinging. I did not tell my parents, I was so scared...
One day, my father saw this tooth. So, I immediately hid in the toilet and locked the door. Then I thought it wasn't a good idea and I hid in bed, under my blanket.
My father started looking for me : he first looked in the toilet and then in my bedroom.
He saw my hair coming out of my blanket, he lifted it and I pretended I was asleep. But my father knew perfectly well I was not sleeping. He opened my mouth slowly, pulled out my small tooth and kissed me. I could not feel anything, it did not hurt, so I opened my eyes. We both started laughing and put my tooth in a small box.

I remember when I was seven. It was the first time I went to China during the summer vacation. I was excited and maybe a bit stressed out because I was going to meet my peers in/for real.
If I remember right, it was a Friday. I arrived at the airport of Brussels in the afternoon, I showed my papers to the customs officer and I was ready to board for the very first time. I waited for about half-an-hour and then the plane started moving. I remember I did not sleep at all. Once I arrived in Hong Kong, I saw a lot of buildings and it was very different from Belgium. We can say these are two entirely different worlds. At that time, I told myself : "My real vacation is starting now. We can find everything here!" I called it "the new world".

When I was a child of about nine, I used to make silly things. I was the champ!
I sometimes involved my brother in these malevolent plots and it added more fun to them.
We always took great pleasure in disturbing and attacking our neighbours.
We built a shed and planned an assault with artillery made of papers and stones. We waited for a long time, perched in the trees, seeing the enemies coming, before moving into this attack at its finest.
When they arrived we went on the offensive but we did not hit the human target; so it ended up quite well.
I know, it is not the wisest thing I've done but it was worth it!
